Hire "Ishtar".which translates loosely to "queen of heaven" from the old Persian mythology. She and here ladies have have been performing as professional Middle Eastern dancers for about 10 years. They specialize in contemporary Cabaret belly dance (glitzy costume), mostly Egyptian and Turkish styles of dance. They also perform a dance what is referred to as Fusion belly dance. Fusion belly dance is an American invention and incorporates moves across cultures and disciplines. Fusion belly dance costumes are not the glitzy nightclub wear rather more funky.
Pricing: Prices range from $125 to $250 for a full set (5 dances) for private birthday parties, etc. Ishtar and her girls are flexible and are willing to work with you to cater to your unique event. The girls reside in Eastern CT yet will travel CT, MA, RI, or NY (Manhattan and the boroughs area). Evenings and weekends are best and most available, yet can dance weekdays too. The girls need generally need a minimum of 24 hours notice email or call for more information.
